- With 9 business or personal trips canceled due to COVID-19, Rick has settled for a masked-up driving trip from his home in Minnesota to the Center of the North American Continent - located in Rugby, North Dakota! But not seeing many masked people in ND.

- Rick and Nita Luis are back home in the Twin Cities after a cruise in the Western Caribbean through the Panama Canal. When they got to Costa Rica, Rick - always game for anything - ate a termite. "It tasted just like peanuts," he reports. But judging from this picture, it doesn't look like he enjoyed it much.
- Things began looking up as they sailed near the north Coast of Cuba - they were barred from landing by the Trump administration – and bumped into a fellow passenger who took one look at Rick's Yale t-shirt and asked, "What class?” "'67," said Rick, and the other guy beamed. It was Tom Jones, who was on the boat with his wife Gail. "I must admit I didn't recognize Rick, but I recognized his t-shirt," says Tom. "I was delighted when he said, ’67."

Here they are shown with a former Executive Director David Ives (a Nobel Prize nominee) during a July 2019 Camp Rising Sun Alumni Reunion. Rick was a Camper as a 15-year-old, and it helped inspire him to apply to Yale.
